Le Club des Petits Botanistes

A year-long botanical programme for 5 to 12-year-olds

October to June · 2 hours a week

Le Club des Petits Botanistes guides children from October to June, following the seasons, on a real journey of botanical discovery, growing and creation.

You don’t discover the living world in a single session. A seed takes time, a cutting develops, a season transforms the vegetable garden. Children come back every week to see what has changed, look after their plants and understand the consequences of what they do.

Two age groups

Les Explorateurs du Vivant · ages 5 to 7
Botanical, sensory, motor and creative discovery. Learning happens through observation, touch, smell and hands-on handling. Wednesday 2.30–4.30pm or Friday 2–4pm. 2,400 MAD per term, or 5,760 MAD for the year.

Les Botanistes en Herbe · ages 8 to 12
Observation, hypotheses, experiments, measurements and tracking how plants grow. Each child keeps a botanical notebook for the year. Wednesday 5–7pm or Friday 4.30–6.30pm. 3,900 MAD per term, or 9,360 MAD for the year.

A year in step with the seasons

  • Autumn — soil, seeds, first sowings and the vegetable garden
  • Winter — greenhouse growing, cuttings, water, air and light
  • Spring — pricking out, growth, flowers and pollinators
  • Early summer — harvests, seeds to take home and the final exhibition

Three get-togethers with families

The children present what they have observed, grown and created: “Beneath the Soil” in autumn, “The Greenhouse Opens” in winter, and the Little Botanists’ Solstice at the end of the year.

Groups of 5 children, 4 groups in total. No sessions during school holidays.
