Feeding your plants without burning them
A potted plant exhausts its potting mix in a few months: without fertiliser, its new leaves become smaller and paler. Our plant foods are of natural origin and easy to dose. Feed during the growing season, from spring to the end of summer, and slow down or stop in winter.
Through the roots or the leaves?
- Through the roots: the compost tea root feed, to be diluted (8 pumps per litre of water), and the frass fertiliser nourish the plant and the life in the soil.
- Through the leaves: the ready-to-use seaweed foliar feed is sprayed once a month and brings back the foliage's shine.
Clean, protected leaves
The ready-to-use black soap for plants removes the dust that dulls the leaves. Used every month, it also helps, as a preventive, to keep pests at bay (aphids, mealybugs, spider mites, thrips) along with diseases that take hold on dirty foliage, such as sooty mould. Wipe the leaves with a soft cloth or our cleaning gloves. The plant care kit brings together our three care products: compost tea, seaweed foliar feed and black soap.

Frequently asked questions
How often should I feed?
During the growing season, from spring to the end of summer: every two to three weeks at the base of the plant, and one spray of foliar feed a month. Instructions are given on each product page.
Root feed or foliar feed?
They complement each other. Nutrition goes first through the roots; foliar feed is a boost for the foliage, not a complete meal.
Can I feed in winter?
Very little or not at all: the plant grows slowly and doesn't use the fertiliser, which builds up in the potting mix.
Does black soap protect against pests?
Yes, as a preventive: foliage cleaned every month with black soap is less welcoming to aphids, mealybugs and spider mites, and the first insects are removed before they multiply. On insects that are already established, it works on contact: spray every five to seven days for three to four weeks.
