Description
Compost tea is compost steeped in water: it draws out soluble nutrients and part of the compost's microbial life. Poured at the base of the plant, it is a gentle root feed of natural origin: it feeds the life in the soil, which in turn feeds the roots. Our pump bottle measures it out effortlessly: 8 pumps for one litre of water.
What it does
- Well-fed roots, at the plant's own pace, with no risk of burning.
- A living potting mix: it also feeds soil life, which makes nutrients available.
- Simple dosing: the pump does away with caps and spoons.
How to use it
- Shake the bottle before use.
- Dilute 8 pumps in one litre of water.
- Water the potting mix at the base of the plant, on slightly moist soil: if it is very dry, water with plain water first.
- During the growing season, from spring to late summer, usually every two to three weeks.
- In autumn and winter, feed less often or stop: the plant grows very little.
Which plants
Most indoor and outdoor plants, in pots or in the ground: foliage plants, flowering plants, herbs, vegetable gardens. Wait a few weeks after repotting into fresh potting mix, such as our Signature Potting Mix, which already contains nutrients. What to pair it with
For the foliage, add our seaweed foliar feed, sprayed once a month. Our frass fertiliser feeds over the long term.Frequently asked questions
Can I use more than the recommended dose? It's best to stick to 8 pumps per litre: a plant doesn't grow faster with more fertiliser, and the excess builds up in the potting mix. Does it replace light and watering? No. Fertiliser is a supplement: first make sure your plant gets enough light and the right watering. Is it suitable for all plants? Most of them. Carnivorous plants should never be fed through the soil. If in doubt, ask us. Good to know: do not swallow; keep out of reach of children. Store the bottle closed, away from heat and sunlight. Made in Morocco. Delivery anywhere in Morocco for 40 MAD, payment on delivery, or collection from our studio at 6 Rue Zemmour, Aviation, Rabat (Tuesday to Saturday, 10am–6pm).Complete your routine
