Description

This 13 cm burnt-orange planter is handmade from quality ceramic in a two-tone design: the glazed colour sets off the white of the clay. Its built-in saucer acts as a reservoir: a wick slipped into the potting mix draws water up by capillary action, as the plant needs it. No more overwatering or stagnant water at the bottom of the pot.

Dimensions

13 cm in diameter, about 12 cm high with the saucer (pot alone: about 8 cm). Thick, sturdy walls.

Which plants

For small plants and cuttings: Calathea, Maranta, pothos, Philodendron, Ficus, Dracaena, tropical plants and herbs.

Using your 13 cm burnt-orange planter

Slip the wick into the potting mix, at root level.
Fill the saucer with water.
Set the pot in the saucer: the plant drinks what it needs over several days.

Care

Refill the saucer regularly.
Check that the wick stays clean.
Clean with hot water and mild soap; no abrasive products on the ceramic.

Frequently asked questions

How long can the plant go without watering?
Several days, depending on the plant, the season and the heat. Keep an eye on the saucer level and refill it when it's empty.
