A branch, a few flowers, and the space between them.
Ikebana is the Japanese art of composing with living things. It is less about filling than about choosing: a line that rises, a flower that answers it, an empty space that lets the whole breathe. In this workshop, you discover the principles of composition, work with height, balance and asymmetry, then set each stem on the kenzan, the traditional flower frog.
Seasonal flowers and foliage, the kenzan and the ikebana bowl are included. You leave with your arrangement, and with what you need to imagine others at home.
