Description

This Spathiphyllum variegata is an uncommon variegated form of the peace lily. Its leaves are marbled with cream and soft green, each with its own pattern, and it produces the same elegant white flowers as the classic peace lily. A decorative plant all year round, even when it isn't in flower.

Where to place it

In a bedroom or living room, in soft light. A little more light than a green peace lily helps it keep its variegation — still without direct sun.

Caring for your Spathiphyllum variegata

Keep the soil slightly moist; water when the surface dries.
Cut faded flowers off at the base.
If a stem reverts to all green, cut it off: it would otherwise take over from the variegated leaves.
Feed it every three weeks in spring and summer with root feed for foliage plants.

Direct sun: the cream areas burn first.
Soil that dries out completely.
Too little light: the variegation fades.

Yes, it produces the same white flowers. The cream parts of its leaves simply need a little more light.
