What is a kokedama?
Kokedama, literally “moss ball” in Japanese, is a way of presenting a plant without a pot: its roots are wrapped in a sphere of soil covered in moss and held with string. You set it on a small dish or hang it.
Watering it
When the ball feels light, dip it in a bowl of water for ten to fifteen minutes, let it drain, then put it back. Depending on the season, that's once or twice a week.
Make one yourself
Our kokedama workshops in Rabat teach you to shape your own, in about an hour, materials included.
Delivery anywhere in Morocco for 40 DH, cash on delivery, or collection from the studio, 6 Rue Zemmour, Aviation district, Rabat (Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00–18:00).
