How does a terrarium live?
A terrarium is a miniature garden under glass. The plants recycle their own moisture: water evaporates, condenses on the glass, then falls back. Well assembled, it needs very little watering. We build every terrarium at the studio, layer by layer: drainage, charcoal, potting mix, mosses and plants suited to life under glass.
Care
- Soft light, never direct sun on the glass.
- A few sprays when there's no more condensation on the glass.
- A little trim now and then to keep the balance.

Frequently asked questions
Does a terrarium need watering?
Very little: a few sprays when there's no more condensation on the glass. Too much water is the main danger.
Where should I put it?
In soft light, away from direct sun, which would turn the glass into a scorching greenhouse.
