Shady Forest is an arrangement designed for places where the light is soft: a bedside table, a bright bathroom, a reading corner, a quiet office. It brings together three woodland plants that enjoy the same humidity: Monstera adansonii with its perforated leaves, Maranta with its patterned veins and a small tropical fern.

Caring for your Shady Forest

Light: filtered to medium, no direct sun.
Watering: keep the potting mix slightly moist, never soggy.
Humidity: it loves good humidity — mist regularly with a fine-mist spray bottle.
Temperature: 18 to 26 °C.
Feeding: once or twice a month in spring and summer.

Good to know

Monstera adansonii is toxic if chewed: keep the arrangement out of reach of cats, dogs and young children.

It copes with soft light, but not darkness: it needs a room with a window, even if it isn't right in front of it.
