Description
A good potting mix is made to suit the plant. This kit brings together the four ingredients that let you adapt any potting soil: to drain, aerate or hold moisture, depending on what each plant needs.
What's in the kit
| Ingredient | Its role |
|---|---|
| Horticultural perlite, 1 L | aerates and drains |
| Vermiculite, 1 L | holds water and nutrients |
| Coco chips, 1 L | aerates while holding moisture |
| Pozzolana, 1 L | lasting drainage, never compacts |
Three recipes
- Tropical plants (Monstera, Philodendron): potting soil or compost, coco chips and a little perlite.
- Cacti and succulents: potting soil with plenty of pozzolana and perlite.
- Seedlings and cuttings: vermiculite and perlite.
Good to know
These ingredients give the potting mix structure but don't feed the plant on their own: they are added to potting soil or compost, which the kit doesn't include.
