Chunks of coconut husk that aerate the potting mix while keeping it gently moist. For Monstera, Philodendron, Anthurium and orchids. In 1 L, 2 L or 5 L bags.
The 5 L works out at 19,80 DH per litre, instead of 30 DH in 1 L: a 34% saving.

Description
Coco chips are pieces of the fibrous husk of the coconut. Natural and renewable, they create large air pockets in the potting mix while holding on to some of the water: the balance tropical plants with aerial roots are looking for.
What they do
- Air and water in the right measure: roots stay cool without sitting in water.
- A structure that lasts: they break down slowly.
- A mix close to bark, which epiphytic plants love.
How to use them
- Soak them for 10 to 15 minutes, then drain.
- Monstera, Philodendron, Alocasia: about a quarter of the mix, with potting mix and perlite.
- Orchids: with bark chips, or choose our ready-to-use orchid mix.
- On the surface, a thin layer reduces evaporation.
Which size should I choose?
The 1 L bag is enough to improve two or three pots. The 5 L bag suits large tropical plants and works out cheaper per litre.Frequently asked questions
Coco chips or coco coir? Fine coir holds a lot of water. Chips, being chunky, let in much more air: they suit plants with thick roots better. Do they need rinsing? A soak is enough: it rehydrates them and makes them easier to mix. Packed at our Rabat studio.
