Natural pine bark to mulch your pots and keep the potting soil cool for longer. It is also part of orchid mixes. In 1 L, 2 L or 5 L bags.
The 5 L works out at 16 DH per litre, instead of 30 DH in 1 L: a 47% saving.

Description
Our bark chips are pieces of natural pine bark. Laid on the surface, they protect the potting soil from the sun and from drying out. Mixed into the potting mix, they provide the air orchids and epiphytic plants need.
What they do
- A natural mulch: the potting soil stays cool for longer and you water less often.
- An airy mix for orchids, Anthuriums and bromeliads.
- A natural touch at the base of your plants.
How to use them
- As a mulch: a 2 to 3 cm layer on the surface of the pot.
- Orchids: as a potting medium, on their own or with coco chips. For a ready-to-use mix, choose our orchid mix.
- Monstera, Philodendron, Anthurium: about a quarter of the mix, for more air.
Which size should I choose?
The 1 L bag is enough to mulch two or three pots or repot one orchid. The 5 L bag suits large planters and works out cheaper per litre.Frequently asked questions
Does bark attract insects? Rarely, as long as it doesn't stay soggy. Let the surface dry out between waterings. Does it need replacing? It breaks down slowly. In an orchid mix, replace it roughly every two years, when you repot. Packed at our Rabat studio.
