Philodendron xanadu has the deeply cut foliage of the big philodendrons, but stays compact and grows into a clump rather than upwards. It's the right plant when you want a tropical feel in an apartment, office or bedroom without housing a giant. Available in small and large sizes.

Where to place it

In a bright room, out of direct sun. It tolerates softer light than most philodendrons: an office, a bedroom or a corner of the living room suits it well.

Caring for your Philodendron xanadu

Water when the top of the soil is dry; it likes neither prolonged drought nor standing water.
Wipe the leaves from time to time to keep them glossy.
Remove damaged leaves at the base to keep the clump neat.
Feed it once a month in spring and summer with root feed for foliage plants.

The right potting mix

A rich, airy potting soil. Our Alocasia and tropical plant mix suits it perfectly.

Mistakes to avoid

Too much water in winter: yellow leaves and soft stems at the base.
A pot without a drainage hole.
Direct sun through a window, which yellows the foliage.

Small or large?
The small size suits a table or shelf; the large one sits on the floor and already makes a fine clump of cut leaves.

Every plant is chosen and checked at the studio before it leaves. Delivery anywhere in Morocco, or collection from our studio in Rabat. A plant that arrives damaged will be exchanged: let us know within 48 hours with a photo.
