Description
The Mini Shady Forest is the little sister of the Shady Forest: three woodland plants in a handmade burnt-orange glazed ceramic pot. The pointed leaves of the Syngonium, the airy fern and the creeping, trailing Ficus pumila form a dense clump, perfect for a kitchen, bathroom or bedside table.
What's inside
| Plant | Its role in the arrangement |
|---|---|
| Syngonium podophyllum | pointed leaves, the heart of the arrangement |
| Nephrolepis fern | volume and lightness |
| Ficus pumila | small leaves that creep and trail |
The pot
Handmade glazed ceramic in burnt orange, 13 cm in diameter (size S), with a drainage hole and its matching saucer.
Caring for your Mini Shady Forest
- Light: soft or indirect, never direct sun.
- Watering: once or twice a week depending on the season, keeping the potting mix slightly moist.
- Humidity: it loves humidity — a kitchen or bathroom suits it.
- Temperature: 16 to 24 °C, away from draughts and dry air.
- Feeding: a gentle fertiliser every two weeks in spring and summer.
Good to know
Syngonium and Ficus pumila are toxic if chewed: keep out of reach of pets and young children.
