Philodendron Imperial Green

Philodendron Imperial Green forms a tight rosette of large, thick, glossy bright green leaves. It doesn't climb: it slowly widens from the centre, which makes it very easy to place. Sturdy and tolerant, it's an excellent choice for an office or a first large plant. Available in three sizes.

In a bright room: living room, office, entrance. It tolerates medium light but grows faster and keeps larger leaves near a window.

Caring for your Philodendron Imperial Green

• Water when the top few centimetres of soil are dry, and empty the saucer.
• Wipe its broad leaves: they gather dust quickly.
• Cut off old outer leaves at the base as they yellow.
• Feed it once a month in spring and summer with root feed for foliage plants.

The right potting mix

A rich, free-draining mix. Our Alocasia and tropical plant mix suits it; add a little perlite if you water generously.

Mistakes to avoid

• Watering into the heart of the rosette: water sitting in the centre can make it rot.
• Full sun, which yellows and scorches the leaves.
• A pot without drainage.

Every plant is chosen and checked at the studio before it leaves. Delivery anywhere in Morocco, or collection from our studio in Rabat.
